Medicinal properties: Styptic, astringent, diuretic, tonic
Botanical Name: Erigeron floribundus= Conyza sumatrensis
Parts used: Leaves or entire plant.
It is used as an enema in the treatment of cholera and dysentery. Use hot enema of about 112F-115f, a teaspoon in one quarter of boiling water
Fleabane is said to be an excellet remedy for colon troubles. For this use it with catnip. It is good for bladder trobles, burning urine and hemorrhages from bowel and uterus. Used interally. It is also good for tuberculosis. Apoultice of it mixed with palm kernel oil is used for mumps in children.
