THE MANY BENEFITS OF GREEN TEA AND BLACK TEA
Both teas are prepared from camelia sinensis. It is the processing
method that makes it either green or black tea. The Europeans prefer the
black tea method while the Chinese prefer the green tea method.
Invariably therefore green tea is Chinese while black tea is European.
Green tea is a rich source of potassium, vitamins A, B6, manganese and
anti -oxidants. Health benefits include reducing risk of heart disease
and diminishing the risk of pancreatic, prostrate, stomach and lung
cancers. It has anti-ageing properties, combats cystitis and
constipation caused by low fluid intake. Taking the tea in the morning
makes one feel energetic throughout the day and have relaxed sleep in
the night.
