NATURAL TREATMENT WITH CASHEW TREE

 Botanical name: Anacardium occidentale
This is a common fruit tree which is valued as food. All parts of the cashew tree; fruits, nuts leaves, bark are useful. The bark, roots and leaves are the medicinal parts. Shred and dry young leaves and take as tea for pile, diarrhoea, and dysentery. Pour boiling water over 1 teaspoon of the tea in a teacup. Take one cup three times daily. Infuse young leaves and gargle for dental problems. Boil matured leaves and drink for diabetes. Mature leaves extracted in alcohol is good for rheumatism. Take one shot of the preparation twice daily. Extract bark of tree and bark of root in alcohol for diabetes. A decoction of the bark cures resistant malaria. The oil of the nut is used for corns and warts and for elephantiasis. The fruit is arich source of vitamin C and the fruit juice is used to prevent malaria. The leaves boiled in water is also good for stopping bedwetting. A tincture can be prepared from the bark and root placed in green or brown bottle. Place the bottle in the sun daily for 14 days. Open the bottle to let out air daily and shake bottle each time before placing in the sun. The longer it stays in the alcohol the more mature it will be.
