The first medicinal use of this wonder pepper is for the cure of catarrh. Chew a few seeds of alligator pepper to clear blocked nose and cold symptoms. It is also useful in coughs. Ground and mix with bitter kola and honey. Practitioners say alligator pepper is an ingredient in most herbal preparations as it boosts the efficacy of other herbal ingredients.
