Okra salad

12 fresh okra.                                                    2 tablespoons French dressing

150 ml boiling water.                                                      ½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon chopped onion or few slices of onion.    Crisp lettuce

1 Wash the okras, cut off tops and boil in water with salt until tender. Drain and rinse in hot water

2 Pour French dressing over the okras and leave for 10 minutes or longer.

3 Serve on crisp lettuce and sprinkle some chopped onion or arrange slices over each serving.
