Currant rolls

225 g flour.                                                  60 g margarine

60 g castor sugar.                                       Milk to mix

60 g currants.                                             1 teaspoon baking powder

1 egg

1 Follow rubbing-in method

2 Add milk to form a stiff dough

3 Roll out thinly on a pastry board

4 Sprinkle the currants on the paste and cut it into squares.

5 Roll up each square and press the ends firmly.

6 Brush with beaten egg and milk and bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes
