Coconut and gari buns

50 g flour.                                                                40 g margarine

50 g sugar.                                                                Milk to taste

4 tablespoons grated coconut.                             ½ teaspoon salt

1 cup gari

1 Sprinkle a little water over the Bari and mix it well to dampen.

2 Rub the fat into flour. Add the Bari and other dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

3 Add well beaten egg and enough milk to make a stiff consistency.

4 Pile in rough heaps on a greased baking tin.

5 Bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes.

6 Dredge lightly with Castor or granulated sugar.
