Black cap pudding

 250 ml plain batter.                                                   50 g currants

1  Prepare batter and stand for half an hour

2 Place cleaned currants at the bottom of a well-greased mould.

3 Pour in batter and cover mould with greased paper

4 Steam for 1 – 11/2 hours or bake for 30 – 40 minutes.

5 Serve with custard sauce
