Roasted corn-meal balls

2 cups roasted corn-meal.                        1 tablespoon ground pepper

4 large ripe plantains.                               1 tablespoon ground ginger

1 medium-sized onion (ground).             Salt to taste

Oil for frying

1  Pound plantains until smooth.

2 Add all the other ingredients and mix thoroughly.

3 Form into balls and fry in deep hot oil until brown and well cooked.

4 Drain and serve hot.
